Patient Simulators and Task Trainers
Patient simulators enable learners to practice a wide range of skills, including those that can’t be safely or ethically simulated with real people. Partnering with them in simulations allows for learners to participate in dynamic scenarios that integrate specific procedural skills, communication, and teamwork.
Task trainers and table top models support more focused needs for skill development. They can be used for teaching and assessment independent from simulation scenarios, and they can also be utilized in hybrid simulations.
SimMan 3G® patient simulator
The newest version of the acclaimed SimMan® patient simulator, SimMan 3G® offers enhanced functionality to expand the possibilities of simulation while continuing to support a simple, user-friendly platform.
SimMan® patient simulator
A portable and advanced patient simulator, SimMan® can be programmed to run simple to complex scenarios appropriate to any level of learner.
SimJunior® patient simulator
A simulator designed to represent a young child, SimJunior® allows learners to practice addressing a broad range of pediatric conditions.
SimNewB® patient simulator
A simulator with realistic newborn traits, SimNewB® offers learners the opportunity to practice providing neonatal care. SimNewB® can simulate a wide variety of newborn conditions, from moving and crying to cyanotic.
NOELLE® maternal and neonatal health patient simulator
A female simulator designed to meet learning and assessment needs around birthing and neonatal health, NOELLE® provides a vital opportunity to develop the birth management skills necessary for normal and complicated births.
PROMPT Birthing Simulator
The PROMPT allows simulation of birthing in semi-recumbent and ‘all fours’ positions and provides realistic experience and practice with complications, including vaginal breech, forceps, and vacuum deliveries. The simulator was designed specifically to facilitate shoulder dystocia.
Clinical Female Pelvic Trainer – MK2
Designed to support training needs around essential anatomy and procedure, the Clinical Female Pelvic Trainer provides improved realism that allows learners to repeatedly practice exam maneuvers without risk to patient safety or comfort.
MamaNatalie® Birthing Simulator
The MamaNatlie® Birthing Simulator is a wearable birthing model that allows birthing skills to be combined with communication skills in hybrid simulation.
Eva Pelvic Exam Model
A versatile tabletop model, the Eva pelvic exam model supports training around anatomical instruction, abdominal palpation, speculum insertion, and advanced tactile compressions. The model includes various interchangeable inserts to allow learners to experience different types of cervixes, pregnancies, and masses.
Cervical Dilation Models
These tabletop cervical models allow learners to feel the changes the cervix undergoes during the first stage of labor.
Birthing Pelvises
These tabletop pelvises are a simple method for learning hand techniques in normal delivery as well as breech births, shoulder dystocia, and chord complications.
Virtual I.V.™ Simulator
The Virtual I.V. ™ Simulator is a comprehensive, fully interactive, self-directed learning system for training intravenous catheterization. Powerful 3D graphics provide visual realism, while a state-of-the-art force feedback device accurately simulates the sense of touch for a truly immersive experience. This simulator provides over 150 patient cases.
Adult and Geriatric IV Training Arms
Simulating the entire human arm and the different challenges of adult and geriatric arms, the IV training arms may be utilized for training and practice for IV insertion, blood draws, intramuscular injections, and intradermal injections.
CVC Insertion Trainer
The model provides a life-like opportunity for learners to practice central venous catheterization.
Intraosseous Trainer
The intraosseous trainer allows learners to practice intraosseous infusion techniques on an infant and is compatible for use with the EZ I/O Driver and Jamshidi needles. Additional adult and pediatric bones provide opportunities to refine skills in I/O access across the spectrum of patients.
Infant, Pediatric, and Adult Airway Management Trainers
The Airway Management Trainers support learner skill development including intubation, preoxygenation, ventilation, suction, and bronchoscopy. The infant and pediatric trainers allow learners to develop airway management skills in those unique populations.
Lumbar Puncture Simulator
The simulator can be modified to replicate experience with patients who are considered normal, obese, geriatric, and geriatric obese. Skills include training and practice for both lumbar puncture techniques and epidural anesthesia. The patient simulator may be used in the sitting or lateral position and can be used to practice team support.
