Joseph Miller

As the Human Simulation Program Manager, Joe brings five years of experience working as a standardized patient (SP) and almost ten years experience managing SP programs across multiple institutions. He combines best practices in simulation and SP methodology with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion to provide exemplary learning activities across the health sciences and beyond. He is an active member and former board member of the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) and is the 2020 ASPE Emerging Leader of the Year. He is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and has his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science & Wellness.
